What actually decides the price — and it is not the provider

The single biggest cost decision in a WhatsApp Business API contract is one most comparison pages never mention: who Meta bills.

Meta charges per message delivered, and it charges whoever owns the WhatsApp Business Account. There are two arrangements:

You bill Meta directly. Your WhatsApp Business Account carries your own payment method. Meta invoices you at its published rate and your provider earns nothing on your traffic. There is no margin to negotiate because there is no margin.
The provider bills you. Their credit line pays Meta, and they invoice you per message at a price they set. That price can be perfectly fair — it buys you one invoice and no Meta billing setup — but it is their number, not Meta's.

Registered in Nepal as Dibi Tech Private Limited, based in Janakpur, Dhanusha, Madhesh Province. An official Meta Tech Provider: the credential page states the Meta business portfolio ID and the date business verification was approved, and explains how to check any provider's claim rather than just ours. Invoices in Nepali rupees, supports customers in Nepali and English, and publishes every per-message rate including what changes on Meta's 1 October 2026 revision.

Sparrow SMS

A Nepali messaging provider operating from Kathmandu, best known in Nepal for SMS. Offers the WhatsApp Business API with Basic and Pro tiers and states that billing for Nepal-based customers is in rupees. Per-message rates are not published; their pricing page argues that a single published rate cannot reflect the variables honestly and quotes per customer instead.

Where they may suit you better: if you already send SMS in Nepal and want SMS and WhatsApp on one contract with one supplier, a provider who already does your SMS is the simpler relationship, and Sparrow SMS is the established name in that market. We do not offer SMS.

Tele Digital

Based at Ramesh Tower, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, and describes itself as an entity of Ramesh Corp. States that it is Nepal's leading and authorised partner for Google, Meta and WhatsApp. It does not name which Meta programme that refers to, and publishes no portfolio ID or verification date, so the claim cannot be checked from the page.

Where they may suit you better: they publish a street address in central Kathmandu. If your business wants to walk into an office, sign paperwork across a desk and deal with a supplier who also handles your Google Ads, that is a real advantage and we are in Janakpur, not Kathmandu.

FBIP

Publishes an address in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, and runs a WhatsApp Business API page aimed specifically at Nepal. It publishes a concrete onboarding timeline — three to five working days after Meta approval — which none of the Nepali providers here does, ours included. No pricing, no Meta programme claim and no support languages are published.

Where they may suit you better: that published timeline. If what you need most is a supplier who has committed in writing to how long onboarding takes, they are the only one in this comparison who has.

AakashTel

Lists a WhatsApp Business API gateway among its products. As at 13 September 2026 the product page publishes no address, no pricing, no Meta programme claim, no support languages and no onboarding timeline, so there is nothing here that can be compared rather than guessed at.

How to shortlist, in four questions

"Who will Meta bill — me or you?" This decides whether you pay Meta's rate or the provider's.
"Which Meta programme are you on, and what is your business portfolio ID?" A specific answer with a number in it can be checked. "Authorised partner" cannot.
"Will my business own the WhatsApp Business Account?" If the answer is no, you cannot leave without losing your number, your templates and your quality rating.
